How to Use PRIMAL POWER Ecdysterone Patches

Transdermal patches are easy to use, however it’s important to use them properly to maximize results and minimize skin irritation. This article will outline step-by-step instructions for proper use of transdermal patches.

**Do not use Primal Power Ecdysterone Supplement Patches if you are allergic to adhesives or inactive ingredients used in transdermal patches.

Directions: Apply 1 patch to a dry, hairless area once daily for 12-24hrs. To avoid irritation, rotate application sites (see below)

  1. Start by washing your hands with soap and water. If water isn’t available, you can use hand sanitizer instead.
  2. Decide where you will place the patch. Applying patches works best on dry, hairless skin, and preferably on vascular areas that receive good blood flow and where the skin isn’t too thick. Examples are your wrist, inner arm or thigh, neck, ankle, stomach, shoulder, or back.

Application

  1. Open the package carefully by tearing it open at the appropriate tear indentation.
  2. Take the 4-pack card of patches out of the packaging. Remove the protective liner on one patch
  3. Place the patch, sticky side down, onto clean skin. Press down on the patch to make sure the patch for 5-10 seconds to ensure the patch is firmly in place. Use your fingers to press along the edges of the patch to make sure they are free of air bubbles. The patch should be smooth, with no bumps or folds.

Post-Application

  1. Wash your hands well with soap and water to remove any ingredients on your hand.
  2. Make sure to remove the old patch before placing a new one and once you have completed the 4-pack of patches throw them away in a closed trashcan.

Rotate locations

It is crucial to rotate application sites in order to prevent skin irritation. Transdermal patches contain inactive ingredients to allow for the active ingredients to penetrate through the skin. Transdermal patches may cause a small amount of redness around the outline of the patch; this is normal and goes away after a short period of time.

To rotate application sites, simply place the patch in a new location every day for one week. A full week of rotating spots will not be required for most, and some can get buy just rotating through a few different application sites.

An example application schedules may look something like this

Day 1: left shoulder

Day 2: right shoulder

Day 3: left forearm

Day 4: right forearm

Day 5: left thigh

Day 6: right thigh

Day 7: back

Repeat schedule weekly.
